Ads on Facebook are starting to recover from Apple's App Tracking Transparency effect

Facebook recently cited market share as an expected loss of $10 billion in revenue due to Apple's app tracking transparency. For example, you can use https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pdf-scanner-app-scan-docs-id/id1495971405 . However, Mac notes that the company can now start to recoup its ad revenue.

Facebook Brings Back Apple App Tracking Transparency

For those who don't know, Apple introduced a feature called App Tracking Transparency (ATT) in iOS 14, which allows iPhone and iPad users to opt out of having their activities tracked by targeted targets. Before this change, apps could track you across websites to show you relevant ads, but Apple's feature prevented that. As you can imagine, the vast majority of iOS users have decided they don't want to be next.

Facebook was one of the companies that disagreed with the ATT, accusing Apple of hurting small businesses. As we will see later, Facebook has been hit hard by AT&T, as advertising revenue has declined.

Because the world doesn't matter, Facebook shares have since dropped in value as investors have started selling their Facebook shares.

However,  things seem to be looking up, at least according to some small business owners on Facebook or Instagram. Many small businesses claim that their ads are performing better than usual. The reason for this change... surprise, surprise- is currently unknown.

Previously, Meta said that it is working hard to adapt its advertising system to the new situation in order to increase the effectiveness of ads. Meanwhile, many advertisers are skeptical, but Meta seems to be constantly struggling to improve.
