The workshop was organised by three H2020 EU projects: MedAID, PerformFISH and ParaFishControl within the 19th EAFP Conference on Diseases of Fish and Shellfish, held from 9 to 12 September in Porto, Portugal After the first part of the workshop where „Diagnostic needs in the Mediterranean countries aquaculture“ were defined by Francesc Padros and Edgar Brun, results were obtained in work packages dealing with health were presented namely:  MedAID's „Diagnostic manual for the main pathogen of European sea bass and Gilthead sea bream aquaculture“ presented by Snježana Zrnčić;  ParaFishControl's „Diagnostic manual on parasitic diseases of European aquacultured fish” presented by Oswaldo Palenzuela and  „Evaluation of the diagnostic capacities throughout Mediterranean basin“ - results of MedAID's and PerformFISH's mutual activity were introduced by MariaLetizia Fioravanti,  Discussions on the different topics moderated by the best-known experts for particular diseases were carried out. Conclusions of each working group discussion will be published within in a separate post.
